Tips for New Riders

The Way to Pay.

Cash fare is 50¢ (one-way trip) for students (with school ID card), seniors and persons with disabilities. Regular bus fare is $1.00.

Discounted pass options:
(must use school ID card to purchase student discount passes)

  • Student Semester Pass BEST BUY –
       good for unlimited rides for an entire semester – $45.

  • 31-Day Pass
       good for unlimited rides for 31 consecutive days.

    Adult Pass – $30
    Student Pass – $14
    Value Pass – $14
    (for seniors age 62 and older & persons with disabilities)

  • 10-Ride Card
       good for 10 one-way rides

    Adult Card – $8.50
    Student Card – $5
    Value Card – $5
    (for seniors age 62 and older & persons with disabilities)

Transfer tickets are free.

CATA passes sold online. Passes are also sold at the CATA Transportation Center (CTC), just two blocks south of Cooley at 420 S. Grand Avenue. You can buy your passes at the CTC, weekdays from 7AM to 7PM and weekends 9AM to 5PM.
