CATA Bus Service to Cooley

  • CATA buses make over 200 trips to Cooley each weekday.
  • Service to Cooley begins as early as 6AM.
  • All buses are equipped with ramps or lifts.
  • CATA’s bus service to Cooley is available 7 days a week.
  • Daytime service – 6AM-7PM
    • Monday-Friday – 14 routes provide direct service to the Cooley campus.
    • Saturday-Sunday – 6 routes provide direct service to the Cooley campus.
  • Evening service – after 7PM
    • Monday-Friday – Routes 1, 3, 8, 9, and 11 provide direct service to the Cooley campus. Last trips from Cooley vary by route. Check individual schedules.
    • Saturday – Routes 1, 3, 8, and 9 provide direct services to the Cooley campus.
    • Sunday – No service after 6PM.
  • What if my route doesn’t serve the Cooley stop? Two routes, Route 7 Aurelius and Route 15 Kalamazoo - Frandor, travel to the CATA Transportation Center (CTC), but do not use Capitol Avenue. The CTC is just down the street from Cooley on Kalamazoo Avenue. The same routing applies to Route 2 South Washington - Pleasant Grove and Route 5 South Cedar - Edgewood, however, they do make limited weekday trips on Capitol Avenue. Call Customer Service at 394-1100 if you use these routes.
  • Curb-to-curb, advance-reservation service is available to persons with ADA certification who are unable to use fixed-route service. Call 394-6230 for ride reservations.
