Mason Redi-Ride is an advance reservation, curb-to-curb service dedicated to Mason area residents. In most cases, a bus can be at your curb within 30 minutes of the time you call.

Hours/Service Area

Mason Redi-Ride service is provided Monday through Friday, from 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturdays, from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM. For information or to request a ride, please call (517) 394-4178.

The Mason Redi-Ride service boundaries are Harper Road on the north, Tomlinson Road on the south, College Road on the west and Ives Road on the east.

Punch Passes

Punch passes are available in increments of 10 one-way rides for all three CATA Rural Services. Pass prices are in accordance with the fare structure outlined in the chart above. Call (517) 394-4178 for more information and for punch pass distribution locations, or purchase passes online.

Transfers

Trips outside of the Redi-Ride area may be made by transferring to another CATA Rural Service bus. Transferring to an equal or lower fare service is free. When transferring to a higher fare service, the difference in fares must be paid when you give the driver your transfer.
